Once you have the Surfe Chrome Extension installed and you have created and mapped a LinkedIn URL property in your CRM, Surfe will scan your CRM contacts every night to look for contacts who have a new position or company on LinkedIn. When we find a contact that has new professional information, we’ll add them to a list of Contact Updates that appears in the Surfe side panel whenever you’re on LinkedIn. In this list, you can see the contacts that need updating, review the information, and click Update. Once you click Update, Surfe will automatically update their contact information in the CRM so your CRM data is always clean so you can continue uninterrupted with your outreach and close more deals.
Surfe scans your CRM contacts for changes every night. The amount of contacts that Surfe scans depends on your Surfe plan and how many contacts need updating. On a Surfe Pro plan, we’ll scan 150 contacts per night. A CRM contact must have their LinkedIn URL mapped in the CRM for them to count toward these 150 contacts and for Surfe to check for changes in their LinkedIn information. Out of these 150 contacts, the ones that have data that needs updating will be added to your Contact Updates list in the Surfe side panel.
When Surfe notices that a contact in your CRM has changed the company or position on LinkedIn, we’ll add them to a list that appears in the Surfe side panel on LinkedIn. This list shows all the contacts in your CRM that have outdated information. Simply click on a contact in the list to review what data has changed and click update. Surfe does not automatically update all contacts that change company or position due to terms and conditions set by LinkedIn. Instead, we show you the list of contacts that need updating and then automatically update them one-by-one when you click update. It means you don’t need to check for changes yourself, change tabs, or manually update the CRM. We’ll update your CRM automatically, but only when you click update for each contact.
You can keep your CRM updated when B2B contact data changes with a 3rd party Chrome extension like Surfe. Surfe scans the contacts in your CRM every day and compares the data with what is available on the user’s LinkedIn profile. If we notice they have a new position or company, we’ll let you know and then update the information in the CRM for you so your outreach is never interrupted. We’ll also send the contact through our intelligent email finder cascade to check if they have a new email address and we’ll put that into your CRM for you too.
Surfe’s Contact Updates feature is built for sales teams to ensure the data in the CRM is always clean and accurate.
For SDRs and BDRs, it’s important that the contacts in the CRM are up to date with an accurate email address associated so they can ensure their outreach is going to the right contact, with the right message, at the right time.
For Sales Ops, it’s important to reduce the amount of admin required so that you can focus on higher impact and less manual tasks. Contact Updates means you don’t need to check for outdated contact information manually yourself, switch tabs, or copy and paste the new information. We’ll do all of the heavy lifting for you.
For Team Leads and Sales Managers, it’s important that your team and the data at their disposal is in sync and up-to-date. Without accurate contact information, your team can’t outreach, you’ll impact relationships with customers and lose track of deals, and ultimately lose revenue. Outdated CRM data causes a reduction of 12% in revenue per year. Contact Updates ensures that your team has all the data your team needs to ensure they perform at the best of their ability.
Surfe’s intelligent Email Finder employs a cascade system, sequentially searching Apollo, RocketReach, Dropcontact, and Hunter, alongside any user-integrated tools via API, ensuring a comprehensive search. Using data from millions of past searches, Surfe predicts the most likely source for accurate results based on search criteria. Successful finds are verified through ZeroBounce to ensure email validity and deliverability, optimizing the search process with intelligence and precision. Surfe is the smartest email lookup tool on the market.
The accuracy of Surfe’s Email Finder tool varies based on search criteria, industry, and geography. However, it boasts a high success rate, with users experiencing up to a 93% find rate. Surfe’s find rate is so high because it combines the power of multiple databases. Searching multiple databases will always result in a higher find rate than depending on only one.
Surfe inserts a list of contacts that need updating into a side panel that is available on LinkedIn. Since we scan for outdated contacts every day and don’t want to flood you with notifications, that list lives here so it’s available for you to check whenever you need.
You can find a CRM contact’s new email address when they change company with a 3rd party tool like Surfe. Surfe will keep your CRM updated by comparing your CRM data with the contact’s information on LinkedIn. When we notice a user has moved company, we’ll send them through our intelligent email finder cascade to find their new, professional, validated email address.
